Tennessee Voices Anthology, 2023-2024, a poetry anthology from the Poetry Society of Tennessee (PST) is now available. As president of the society, I’m thrilled for the people whose poems appear in it and grateful to everyone who made the anthology come to life (it’s a long list: learn more. As a Tennessee-based poet, I’m excited to share that my first-ever rubaiyat is included in its pages. (Ironically, the geography of my poem is my other happy place: northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast, inspired by a winter morning earlier this year.)

Tennessee Voices Anthology, 2023-2024 features winning and selected poems from PST’s monthly member contests and student and annual poetry festival competitions. Poets appearing on its pages range in age from elementary school children to octogenarians on all manner of topics (many Tennessee-oriented) and a variety of poetic forms.
